I Don't Want To Eat My Food Anymore

It's true. I don't want to eat my food anymore. Well, at least for right now. Mommy always has to get a different brand of dog food each time she buys a bag. I won't eat it if she gets the same kind 2 times in a row. I get bored with it and so I don't eat it! Well, she did it. Mommy bought the same dog food and now I am refusing to eat it, even though we are about 3/4 of the way through the bag. Here is how meal time is at our house right now.

Here are the two feeders. Notice how Sadie is going to eat her food, but I am not there.

My feeder is all alone, but where am I?

I am out in the hallway because I really don't want to eat.

Sadie tries to steal some of my food. Mom catches her in the act and says "Oscar, Sadie is eating all your food!"

I rush over and growl at her to get away from my food!

I leave as soon as sadie leaves.

This process is repeated several times until Mom finally gets tired of it. She mixes canned food in so I will eat.

Then I run over, get a drink of water, and eat my food.

Sadie will just have to wait!

My Early Morning

We have now moved into our new home and both Sadie and I are doing very well with it. I have to admit that I am still getting used to not being able to go off-leash when I go outside. I also keep running to the sliding door, only to find out that the grass I want to pee on so urgently is about 10 feet below our patio. It's going to take some getting used to.

Well, Mom had to work early again this morning. The only difference now is that her work is farther away than before. That means that she has to wake up a little earlier to be able to leave earlier. This is how I looked this morning when Mommy got up.

Then, Mom said that we got to come with her because she wouldn't be home again for a long time and she didn't want me and Sadie to have to hold our pee and poop in that long, or have an accident. This is me waiting for Mom and Sadie by the front door.

It was still really dark when we got to Mommy's work and we did have to get up early, so Sadie and I were still really tired.

A few hours later, we got to go in the car for another ride. We had to take the little boy that Mommy takes care of to preschool. I got got to ride up front, but Sadie was too freaked out and wanted to stay in the way back.

Overall, it was really early and a little crazy, but so worth it!

Our Project: The Finished Book

Mommy and I finished the Scrapbook project for our friend Lynda a few weeks ago but are just now posting about it because it's been really crazy around our house the past few weeks. We presented the book to her about a week after it got finished and She absolutely love it!

Would you like to see it?

You would! Well, let me show you!

This is how thick the book was. It was over 30 pages!

Here is the front of the book

When you open it up, the first page you see is a note to Miss Lynda from me. I explained about the book, how Mommy and I came up with it, and how many people showed their love for her.

You turn the page and get to the stories, pictures, and well wishes

There is something new on every page

On the very last page, I tell Miss Lynda how much I hope she enjoys this scrapbook everytime she reads it. I want her to be able to look at it over and over again.

Mommy and I didn't realize just how much she loved it until we got a thank you card from Lynda saying how much she enjoys reading it.

I want to thank all of my wonderful friends for helping me put together a great book for a person who really needs it right now. I couldn't have done it without you! I also want to thank my friend Juno because she helped me get a lot of these pictures by posting it on her Facebook Page.

I'm Going to Miss You Denny's Pet World!

There are many good things about moving. I get to move to a bigger place, meet new friends, and get to live closer to the beach, but there are also a few sad things about moving. One thing I'm going to be sad about is not getting to visit Denny's Pet World all the time. It's my favorite pet store and I am really going to miss it! Let me show you what I love about it.

Looking at the reptiles is always fun for me because they remind me of my Leopard Gecko brother Gollum. I'm going to miss watching them here. It's just not the same anywhere else!

I am going to miss visiting with the bunnies and Guinea Pigs. This was always my favorite spot to go because I love them as much as I love my Guinea Pig sisters Vanilla Bean and Cinnamon Spice. We got Spice at Denny's Pet World, so they will always have a special place in my heart.

This was the night I first saw Cinnamon Spice there.

I loved looking at all the toys that I wanted to take home, but Mommy said I couldn't because I already have enough toys to play with.

Then, I would give her my sad face because I didn't get any toys.

Lastly, there is the boxes full of treats. You scoop out the treats you want and put them in a bag to buy. I always liked to see if I could sneak one when Mommy wasn't looking but, most of the time, I didn't get away with it. I'm going to miss that too.

So, as much as I'm going to love moving, I'm still going to miss the things I have grown up with for 7 years
