Photo Caption Friday!

This week has been super busy and I have had hardly any time to think! Working on the scrapbook project took up most of the time. I did have time to post a Caption It picture though. Lots of suggested captions came in, but only one stood out to me and Mommy. It might have something to do with the fact that Mommy really loves "The Lord of the Rings" movies, it could be that it just fit, or maybe both. So with that said, here it is!

Photo Caption Friday!

I loved this weeks photo because it had so much potential! There were 3 animals in the picture and that leaves rooms for many caption ideas. We got lots of good captions and Mom and I had to decide which ones to use. It was just by chance that we were able to have a caption for each animal in the picture! So, here it is.

Now for the captions:

Our Project: Part 2

Well, the first part of our project was getting pictures for our scrapbook we are making for our friend with cancer. It was a major success! We got tons of emails with pictures, well wishes, and advise from those who have had cancer. It was so amazing to see how many people care enough to take time out of their day to send pictures to a woman who really needs the cheering up right now.

We didn't realize exactly how many pictures we had until we got them printed. With my friends telling their friends, we recieved over 200 photos! That is just amazing! Our job now is to match the pictures with the emails we got. It's going to be a big job, but Mom and I can handle it.

Here are all the pictures.

These are the emails and well wishes that need to be matched up with the pictures

Mommy and I are going to be very busy for the next few days!

2013 calender

Yahoo! My 2013 calender is finished and will be for sale by the end of the week! Mom ordered one after she created it, but before it went up for sale, to make sure that it looked good. It looks great! Here's a sneak peek at a few of the months.

Photo Caption Friday!

I have to admit that I really loved the picture for this week. It was me putting my little paw on Cinnamon Spice's head during one of our cuddle times. I was very curious to see how many people would caption it. There were 16 caption ideas and all were very good. One really stuck out to me and it's probably because Cinnamon Spice is always talking about World Domination by cuteness. It just fit really well.

What Most People Don't Know About Me

That's right! I have a secret that only friends and family know about, but I'm ready to share it with the world. I am litterbox trained. Yes, all 28 pounds of me will use the litterbox if I have to.

I would like to say that as much as I can use the litterbox, I would rather go outside to do my business. I does come in handy when it's too cold to go outside or if mom ever gets sick and isn't able to get out of bed. It also comes in handy when Mom works long hours or if she goes out to the fair of other long event. She doesn't have to worry about me or Sadie having an accident.

Now, some people are completely against it because it's "not natural" and that it's teaching the dog to use the bathroom inside the house. I have also heard some say that it's for people who are too lazy to take their dog outside to pee and poop. I think those people are wrong.

1)You are not teaching dogs to poop in the house. Instead, you are teaching them to go in a specific place, just like you teach them to go outside.

2) It is NOT for lazy people who don't want to take their dogs out to potty. I mean, you wouldn't want to litter train a Great Dane or Golden retriever because, let's face it, nobody wants to scoop out a gigantic poop out of a big litterpan. Where would you even put a big litterbox like that? For small dogs who are having housetraining issues, it's a wonderful thing. I will explain by telling Sadie's story.

When we got Sadie 3 years ago, she had been a puppy mill dog and was used to going to the bathroom in the crate where she was living. At out house she would go poop and pee anywhere in the house because that's what she had done all her life, going where she was living. Mom had tried everything to get her to go outside to go potty, but nothing worked. Then Mom tried litterbox training her because there was already a litterbox in the house (I have been trained to use it since I was about 10 weeks old) and her attempt failed so she gave up on that idea. Then one day Sadie started using it. Mom was so happy! Sadie hasn't had an accident on the floor in 3 years.

Well, that's my secret!

Our Project

I have done many projects to help people and rescues, and most are for people I don't know. The project that I have just started working on comes a lot closer to home because it is for a family friend. Grandma has known this person for 30+ years and Mom had known her since she was born. Her name is Lynda and she has breast cancer. I remember when Mommy first found out. She was shocked and very sad to hear such horrible news. Lynda has been going through Chemotherapy and it had been very hard on her. The chemo makes her sick, she has lost all her hair, and has gained back weight that took so long for her to lose and keep off. Recently Grandma was talking to mom about how Lynda was doing and mentioned that she had been very depressed and down lately because of everything that is going on right now. After hearing this, Mom got an idea of how to cheer her up. We are going to be making a scrapbook for Lynda to enjoy everyday. A book that is inspiring and encouraging for this brave woman who is in the battle for her life.

I put the word out about this project to my friends on facebook and the response has been overwhelming. We have gotten so many pictures of animals through e-mail and facebook and it is so wonderful to see so many people supporting this great cause. It is amazing to see people, from all over the world, take time out of their day to help a woman they don't know.

We have been busy for the past 2 days going through emails and organizing pictures together. I have been a big help to mom. I will post updates as we get this book made.

Look at me work. Busy! Busy! Busy!

Photo Caption Friday!

This week was another tough one. There were so many great captions options and it took some time to decide. I wanted one that really fit the picture and the expression on my face. So, here it is!

Bark in the Park 2012

Every year our Minor League Baseball team, the Everett Aquasox, has a day when friendly, well behaved dogs are allowed into the ballpark. This is called Bark in the Park. I went last year for the first time and it was so much fun. We had such a great time that we decided to go every year.

We got there early this year to look at the vender booths before going into the stadium. First we had to buy the tickets. I hated waiting in the line but was so happy when we got to the ticket counter!

Here we are walking around to the different vender booths.

Then we went to our seats to wait for the game to start.

We had great seats right behind home plate and it was so much fun watching the game!

Sadie and I enjoyed getting treats from the people working at the stadium.

We also got to meet the team mascot Webbly

I had to watch the game so I could play my baseball bingo. I didn't want anyone to touch my bingo card.

Both Sadie and I got really tired as the game went later into the night, so we decided to take a little nap.

I was soon re-energized by the smell of food that the people behind us were eating.

It was such a great night! We had a good time even though we didn't win. Can't wait to go again next year!

Kirkland Canine Festival

We go to the Go Dog Go! Kirkland Canine Festival every year and it is always so much fun. We love seeing all the venders, contests, and other dogs.

Like I said before, I love checking out all the vender booths. I know they have lots of treats and goodies on the tables! The people who are at the booths and extremely nice too.

Meeting new doggie friends!

I found the jackpot of tennis balls too! I tried to get Mom to buy me some but she said I had enough at home.

I got to say hi to the people at my favorite animal rescue!

It was hot and sunny that day, so I liked finding shady places to cool down.

Friends of the week

My friends of the week are Milo and Bailey!

Milo is the big boy in the picture. He was adopted into his family last September after he was brought to a shelter by a puppy mill person. He had a cherry eye and nobody wanted him. I'm so glad that he has a forever home now! He LOVES his toy chicken so much that he chewed the feet off and still plays with it. He also likes to steal things so his mom can chase him down!

Bailey is the smaller girl in the picture. She is a quiet, shy, and can get a little scared sometimes because she is blind, but is a good girl. When she was younger, some very bad people were mean to her. They hit her in the head and one of her eyes popped out. Her other eye was poked with something sharp and the mean people didn't take her to the vet, so she can't see out of that eye. She was saved from being shot and was brought to a Boston Terrier rescue. She was adopted into her forever family and is loved a lot.

I am so glad to know both of you! I am so glad you have a loving family and am so happy to have you for friends!

Photo Caption Friday!

This has got to be our best week EVER for the caption it! So many great suggestions but, in the end, only one can be chosen. There was a stand out comment that actually sounded like something my family would say. We are kind of a crazy and silly family.
