Every Human Should Learn These

If every human would just listen to dogs and learn something from us, the world would be a much better place.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Take naps and stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Thrive on affection and let people touch you - enjoy back rubs and pats on your neck.

When you leave your yard, make it an adventure.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout - run right back and make friends.

Bond with your pack.

On cold nights, curl up in front of a crackling fire.

When you're excited, speak up.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

A NEW DOG PARK!

I am so excited for this one! Kirkland, Washington now has an off leash dog park for me to run and play in. It has a small dog area but I like playing with the big boys much better. Little dogs are much too small and fragile. The big dogs are tough like me!

Here is the gate to the park while we were waiting for the mayor to get there to cut the ribbon.

When the mayor did get there, I still had to listen to two speeches before the ribbon was cut. I couldn't wait; why did they make us wait?

I was so happy when we were finally allowed to go through the gate, but we had to stay on leash until everyone was inside the fenced area.

And finally.....Wait for it.....

FREEDOM!

I wanted this ball and it wasn't even mine!

That got Mommy to throw my ball for me!

I had way too much fun! I was so tired when I got home and, yet, I can't wait to go again.

I will be famous one day!

My goal is to one day be famous. Everyone already loves me and thinks I am so cool; I just have to get myself out there.

I want to be a superstar, but for right now, I'm just going to enjoy the spotlight in my own neighborhood. Any of my doggie friends want a playdate?

I Love My Sister

I love my sister Sadie so much. She loves to follow me around all day and that is fine with me. Sometimes I get a little mad when she won't leave me alone but most of the time I just let her do it.

She wants to be with me when I chew on my bone. She tries to take it sometimes but I do not let her get it, most of the time.

She follows me the whole time we are on a walk.

I even let her sleep next to me. She keeps me warm at night.

Sledding In Action

This is me sledding. Doesn't it look like so much fun!

My New Trick

A long time ago, when I was a puppy, my mommy put me on a sled for the first time and I didn't like it at all. I remember jumping right off and landing in the snow head first. That was not fun at all.

Now that I am a big boy and love the snow more, Mommy thought she would try it again. This time I would be riding by myself!! I could not believe it. I was a little worried, but Mommy told me I would be okay.

IT WAS SO FUN!!! I do not know what I was so worried about?! This has got to be the best thing EVER!! Mommy was so proud of me.

I wanted to keep going and going! Finally Mommy said it was time to come inside the house. I was so sad.

I can never have too much sledding!

The snow is going away

I am so sad right now. It snowed a lot in the past week and now it is all melting. WHY?? Why does it have to go away? I LOVE SNOW!!! I get so excited when Mommy lets me go outside in the white stuff.

I like going for walks in the snow too! Mommy had to put weird stuff on my paws to protect them. She says it's called wax. I don't like it because it smells really funny. My sister Sadie doesn't like it either; she tries to eat it off her paws, but I don't because I am a good little boy. We also have to wear our pajamas because it was really cold.

I walked in my Mommy's footprints in the snow. They were the perfect size for all 4 of my feet to fit in.

I really enjoyed taking a nice stroll until Mommy said it was way too dangerous to walk on the street my myself, at night, without a light. OOPS!

I got to go for a ride in my grandpa's truck! It was so cool.

The best part was when Mommy made me a snow house! I loved going inside it and laying on my rug. Mommy thought it was cute that I was even protecting my house from the neighbors.

I have had so much fun! I hope it snows here again soon!

SPINZ

I got something in my Christmas stocking called SPINZ. I guess Santa knows that I really, really like hard chew toys. They are really tasty and Mommy says they clean my teeth too! I think that's why my teeth are so white. Anyway, Mommy gave me my SPINZ today and it was really good but the top would twist around every time I thought I had a good grip on it. Mommy says thats what it's supposed to do ( something about it being interactive ), but I don't care. I didn't like it at first but then I got the hang of it.

Now I LOVE it!

Mommy says I have big bug eyes. I have no idea what she is talking about?!

It was very tasty!

Christmas

Well, I got though this day called Christmas. I got lots of things in my stocking. These include toys, treats, and a new collar! A lot of my mommy's family was at our house, but I think I may have been scaring them away with my gas. They banished me from the living room because they couldn't stand the smell of me. I CAN'T HELP IT!

I had so much fun though. Here is me when mommy put a bow on my head. I didn't like it very much.

Here are a few pictures of me during the opening of the presents. You can tell I was starting to get really tired.

I had to inspect all of my mommy's presents before she opened them, just to make sure they were safe.

I can't wait for next year!
